Hyatt Ziva & Zilara Cap Cana is one of my favorite resorts for group travel in the Dominican Republic because it truly works for so many different types of groups. Whether you’re planning a corporate retreat, family reunion, milestone birthday trip, golf getaway, destination wedding, or just a big friend group vacation, this resort has enough variety to keep everyone happy without making the experience feel complicated.
Located inside the gated Cap Cana community, the resort feels a little more tucked away and polished compared to the busier hotel areas in Punta Cana. You still get the beautiful beach and lively atmosphere people want in the Dominican Republic, but the overall area feels more relaxed and easy to navigate for groups.
Another huge plus? Adults staying at Hyatt Ziva have access to the adults-only Hyatt Zilara side, which gives groups even more restaurants, pools, and entertainment options throughout the trip.
Rooms & Accommodations
The rooms here are spacious, modern, and honestly just easy for groups. There are options for couples, families, friend groups, and even larger family setups that can comfortably sleep five guests in certain room categories (trust me, not all resorts can accommodate more than four guests per room type so this is a HUGE perk!).
For corporate groups or incentive trips, the Club Level and Butler Level room categories are especially popular for upgraded service and extra perks.
