The Vivid Pickleball Classic – Cancun is our first annual, adults-only pickleball retreat designed specifically for intermediate players who want structured instruction, organized match play, and a refined all-inclusive setting. This is not a casual open-play meetup. It is a professionally coordinated four-day experience built for players who understand the game and want to sharpen their skills all while having fun and playing in paradise!

Hosted by Shoreline Destinations and at the adults-only Hyatt Vivid Grand Island, this event blends skill development with competitive yet social play. Each day includes dedicated court time, strategic coaching, organized rotations, and thoughtfully matched play across four courts. Players will refine technique, improve shot selection, and build confidence in real-game situations. There are 4 courts at the resort so you won't be waiting around to play!  We expect everyone to get ample time on the courts (and off)!! A great mix of play and relaxation! 

Off the court, guests enjoy the ease of an all-inclusive resort, including private group events, elevated dining, and the energy of Cancun. The week concludes with a spirited tournament followed by a final group dinner to celebrate a well-played event and set the tone for next year’s Classic. For those who are accompanying a pickleball player but don't play themselves, there is a golf course minutes from the property and a gorgeous beach club for enjoying the afternoons at the beach or their gorgeous rooftop infinity pool (if staying in a vantage club room)!

PICKLEBALL FEE - A $125 per room fee will be added to your reservation.
This fee covers six hours of court time over three days, plus organized instruction and round robin game play throughout the three days.

Deposits & Payments

Deposit: $300 per room is due when booked and goes towards your total room cost. Must be booked by June 1, 2026 Reserve early to get your preferred room type!

Second Payment: $400 per room due July 17, 2026

Final Payments: Remaining balance due August 21, 2026

Cancellations made before or on June 22, 2026:
Room reservation deposit and payments are fully refundable. Cancelled airfare tickets purchased through Shoreline Destinations are valid for one year from the original ticket issue date and may incur cancel/change fees based on the air carrier. See your airline’s website for terms/conditions. Travel insurance is non-refundable.

Cancellations made on or after June 23, 2026:
Without Travel Insurance: room deposit and payments are non-refundable. With Travel Insurance: Insurance with CFAR (Cancel For Any Reason) provides in-travel protection as well as cancellation protection. With CFAR travel insurance, cancellations will receive a refund of 75% of the trip cost (if canceling for ANY reason at least 2 days prior to departure) and a refund of 100% of the trip cost (if canceling for a COVERED reason). The cost of travel insurance is nonrefundable.

Changes to reservations: ANY changes made to your existing room reservation are subject to the current rates, promotions, and terms at the time of change. Changes made within 30 days of travel will incur a $50 per person change fee. Date changes can only be made within the group room block dates. Any date changes outside of the group room block dates are considered a cancellation.

Travel Insurance

We highly recommend travel insurance for all travelers and it can be added on to your room reservation (and airfare if needed) within 5 days of your deposit. If you would like travel insurance, please select “yes” for travel protection in the reservation form below and we will provide a quote.

Airfare

Shoreline Destinations can also coordinate your airfare and add it on to your booking, however, please also feel free to book your airfare directly with your preferred airline.

All flights should arrive and depart from Cancun International Airport (CUN Airport). Please DO NOT book your airfare until your travel advisor has emailed you your room confirmation.

*Airfare on value air carriers (Southwest, Spirit, Frontier, JetBlue, etc.) must be booked on your own since Shoreline Destinations is unable to package it on. However, airfare with any other major carriers can be added to your reservation if needed or can be booked independently. If airfare is purchased through Shoreline Destinations, you must pay for airfare in full and also purchase travel insurance.

 

TRANSPORTATION

Shoreline Destinations will be coordinating your transportation to and from the airport. More information will be provided closer to your departure. Transportation is an additional fee.

How to request your room:
Step 1: Determine your travel dates and preferred room category (options and pricing above)
Step 2: Fill out the room request form below
Step 3: Once completed, we will contact you within 1-2 business days if additional information is needed.
Step 4: We will book your room in the resort’s system and send you a copy of your invoice to review.
Step 5: You will review and electronically sign the invoice to confirm your booking and make your deposit.
Step 6: Once you sign the invoice, we will process your card, and email you a confirmation showing the amount applied.

*Your credit card WILL NOT be charged until you receive and approve a detailed invoice.

FAQS

  • Passports are required to travel internationally. Please locate your passport and check the expiration date - make sure it is valid for 6 months AFTER your anticipated return date.

  • YES! Shoreline Destinations is coordinating the group with the resort. If you book your room directly with the resort or another website, additional fees may apply.

  • Adding a guest - You can book your room today and add a person in the future. Please keep in mind when making changes to your reservation, the pricing and availability at the resort are subject to change at any time, therefore can impact ability to process requests. If travel insurance is on your reservation, the additional guest(s) will need to pay for additional travel insurance.
